I don’t generally open up a magazine with the intention of not liking the things presented in there. I LOVE magazines, all sorts of them, therefore I open them up with medium to high levels excitement and curiosity, and usually take a first ‘overall’ browse, before digging into each page /article. Obviously these levels vary from publication to publication.
Anyway, while taking this initial browse, I came across this ‘functional fashion’section in True Love’s April 2011 issue, which immediately stuck out at me – for the wrong reasons. Well, the shot below in particular.
My main gripe: A skirt of this length, paired with those boots just doesn’t work! It looks uncomfortable! The skirt doesn’t wit well on the model’s body either. The stylist clearly favoured her vision for the colour of the season, camel, over fit.
